I am a historian and a journalist, currently working with the Friedrich Naumann Foundation, a political foundation in Jakarta. I used to work for a weekly magazine D&R were supposed to be standing for Detektif & Romantika, but in the atmosphere of reform it changed into Demokrasi & Reformasi. My journalistic life continues work for a Japanese daily newspaper, Yomiuri Shimbun, the biggest circular newspaper in Japan. I had been worked covering national economic issues and a special assignment for East Timor, now become a new country called Timor Lorosae.
I spent a year working with Indonesia Corruption Watch (ICW) before joining Friedrich Naumann Foundation, for monitoring and investigating World Band and Asian Development Bank project funded. This is makes me involved in the campaign and establishment of Koalisi Anti Utang (Anti Debt Coalitions) and a national-wide anti corruption campaign.
